Abstract

This study aims at describing the process of developing motion graphic video prototype as a supplementary grammar learning media in English education study program Jambi University. The research used research and development research design and follows ADDIE model by Lee and Owen in developing the learning media. The stages started from analyzing students’ need through questionnaire, designing the product, developing the motion graphic video, and implementing the motion graphic video. There were 74 participants consisted of three classes of the first year students who voluntarily filled in the questionnaire in order to analyse the learners’ need and 10 students were chosen as participants to be interviewed. Moreover, most of the students who watched the video stated that learning video is interesting and attractive to be seen. Key Words: Motion graphic, supplementary learning media, grammar
