Abstract
The objective of this research was to find the English Foreign Language (EFL) students’ interests in learning reading at the English Study Program at Jambi University. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire. The sample of this research was 43 students of first semester of English Study Program at Jambi University. The findings showed that the lowest mean score was 3,72 for the individual interest, then followed by 3,78 for the topic interest, and the highest mean score was 3,91 for the situational interest. Whereas the conclusion showed that the English Foreign Language (EFL) students’ interests in learning reading at the English Study Program at Jambi University is situational interest.
