Abstract
The research was conducted to determine the growth of Liberika seedling based on different types of compost in coal mine. This research was conducted at the experimental station of Agriculture Faculty of the University of Jambi. Mendalo indah, District Municipal Foreign Jambi, Muaro Jambi. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments in this experiment were 7 treatments levels, K0 = Comparison treatment, K1 = Compost treatment of chicken coop 10 tons/ha K2 = compost treatment cowshed 10 tons/ha, K3 = Solid compost treatment 10 ton/ha, K4 = Compost treatment of chicken coop 15 tons/ha K5 = compost treatment cowshed 15 tons/ha, K3 = Solid compost treatment 10 ton/ha. The observed variables are plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area. The results of this study indicate that the composting of chicken coop 10 tons / ha gives the best growth of Tungkal Jambi Liberika coffee on plant height, stem diameter and leaf area
