Abstract

This study was intended to examine the effect of profit sharing principle and interest, bank reputation, and information asymmetry against customer decision in choosing banking services between islamic bank and conventional bank in Jambi Province. In this study, data was obtained from primary data using a questionnaire. The respondent obtained from customer of islamic bank and conventional bank in Jambi Province. The sample selection used nonprobability sampling with acidental sampling technique and analized by using discriminant analysis. The results showed that in choosing banking services, the customer of islamic and conventional banks in Jambi Province did not take attention about the principle of profit sharing and interest, bank reputation and information asymmetry
