Abstract

The aim of this research was to explore the student teachers’ teaching practicum experience related to student teachers’ experience with thestudents and their experience with the supervision during the SEA-Teacher Project in Thailand and the Philippine. The participants of this research were three student teachers alumni of SEA-Teacher Project from English Language Education, Jambi University. This research employed qualitative method that used document analysis and interviews for data collection. Interviews with student teachers were used to obtain data and evidence about their experience in teaching practicum (SEA-Teacher Project) and document analysis was used to explore the content of learning resources used in schools. The results of data analysis revealed that there were a variety of experiences that can be mainly categorized into three types, namely experiences related to students, to the supervision, and to the student teachers themselves. Several efforts carried out are also identified and some suggestions are also highlighted at the end of the paper. Keywords: student teachers, international teaching practicum
