Abstract
This research was conducted under the considerations that in this 21st century, technology be one important aspect and be the demands of life, especially in Education. It needs to know about how the students’ perceived toward the use of technology for their language learning as the starting point for the other researchers or experts to consider the students’ perception to the use of technology for their language learning. In the research, the researcher use TESOL technology standard as the main instrument. This instrument used as the standard for the students’ self assessment toward the use of technology for language learning. The participants of this research were the third English study program students in Jambi University. The researcher used Mix method research with explanatory design. The results of this research came from questionnaire survey and also interview. The first phase of the research showed that the students perceived toward the use of technology for their language learning according to the TESOL technology already good while in the second phase of the study, the researcher found that the participants perceived it fairly and the researcher also found more deep explanation about their perception toward it.
