ABSTRACT Susanti, Yeni. 2017. Educational Values in Novel Negeri 5 Tower of Work Ahmad Fuadi. Thesis, Department of Language and Art Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing (1) H. Yundi Fitrah, M.Hum., Ph. D. Counselor (2) Drs. Albertus Sinaga, M.Pd. Keywords: values, education, novels. The purpose of this study is to describe the educational values in the novel Negeri 5 Menara by Ahmad Fuadi. The values of education are oriented in shaping the child's person. The character of the nation contributes to the progress of a nation. A good and superior character is someone who tries to do the best things to God Almighty, his / her self, fellow, environment, nation and country, and the international world generally by optimizing his / her potential and with his awareness, emotions and motivation. This research method is descriptive. Research is based on existing data or data obtained. The thing that is described in this research is the values of character education contained in novel Negeri 5 Menara by Ahmad Fuadi. Research produces data, collected data analyzed by expressing values and meaning in a work that focuses on understanding the content, message, or idea of the author. In checking the validity of the data researchers do triangulation theory. The results of this study indicate that in the novel Negeri 5 Menara by Ahmad Fuadi there are values of education, the values of education include religious values, hard work value, social caring value, creative value, self-value, honesty value, democratic value, and value responsible. Become a democratic and responsible citizen. The research conclusions in Novel Negeri 5 Menara are the values of education as planting and a benchmark of truth, religion, ethics and morals. As for the cultivation of educational value.
