Abstract
ABATRACT Monica, Elisa. 2017. Moral values in Novel Negeri 5 Indeed match by Marah Rusli. Thesis, Department of Language and Art Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Jambi, Supervisor (1) Drs.Agus Setyonegoro, M.Pd. Supervisor (2) Drs. H.Larlen, M.Pd. Keywords: values, morals, novels. The purpose of this study is to describe the moral values in novel Memang Jodoh Karya Marah Rusli. The method of this research is analytic descriptive. Research is based on existing data or data obtained. Research produces data, collected data analyzed by expressing the values and meaning in a work that focuses on understanding the content, message, or idea of the author. In checking the validity of the data researchers do triangulation theory. Based on the analysis of data and discussion in the novel there are values of morality of Muslims to Allah SWT, Moslem moral values to fellow, and indigenous values of Muslims to the environment. The entire muslim values are described as follows; Namely (1) the value of husnuzzan, (2) the value of repentance, (3) the value of initiative, (4) the value of being grateful (5) the karmic value, (6) the fair value, (7) the value of fostering friendship (8) the value of tawakal (9) The value of qona'ah, (10) the value of wisdom, (11) the value of self-confidence, the moral values of Muslims in society, that is (1) generous, (2) big-spirited, and (3) words aligned with deeds. Third, Muslim moral values to the environment contained in the novel, the optimal utilization of nature and wise and loving fellow creatures (animals or plants). Based on the conclusions mentioned above, there are a number of suggestions that need to be submitted to the next researcher, it is advisable to develop research on Muslim moral values in a literary other works using different theories and perspectives so that the results of research on Muslim moral values In literary works will be more diverse and varied. In addition, this study can also be used as a reference for other researchers who conduct similar research. For writers of literary works, it is advisable to create quality literary works.
