Abstract

ABSTRACT Irwandi, Yuda. 2020, "Development of Video Tutorial Media of Objects and Characteristics of Class V Elementary Schools". Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, Jambi University. Advisor (I) Dr. Dra. Hj. Destrinelli, M. Pd. (II) Hendra Budiono, S.Pd., M.Pd. Keywords: instructional media, video tutorials, the form of objects and their characteristics. This study aims to develop a learning media for video tutorials of objects and their characteristics, to find out the validity and practicality of video tutorial media of objects and their characteristics. This type of research uses the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The media developed was then validated by the validator, including the validation of media experts and learning experts. The results of the first stage of validation by the first stage media expert obtained an average value of 67.82%, so this product is included in the category of "Not good, needs revision". The validator states that the media validation is feasible to be tested with revisions. Then the second stage of revision was carried out, the average value was 96.5%, so this product was included in the "Very Good (very feasible)" category. The results of the expert validation of learning materials at the first stage obtained an average value of 67.5%, so this product is included in the category "Not good, needs revision". The validator states that the learning validation is feasible to be tested with revision. Then the second stage of revision was carried out, the average value was 96.5%, so this product was included in the "Very Good (very feasible)" category. From the results of the expert team validation, it can be seen the level of multiplicity of the products made. After the validation results were obtained, individual trials and small group trials were carried out to determine the practicality of the object-form video tutorial learning media and the characteristics of grade V elementary schools. This research has produced a product in the form of learning media in the form of objects and its characteristics on the theme of events in life, the sub-theme of national events during the colonial period, learning 1, the content of learning science subject competence and characteristics of elementary school V. Learning media video tutorials in the form of objects and their developed characteristics can be used as learning support media, it is hoped that for the next research to be able to develop learning media that is varied and more interesting.
