Abstract

Coal post-mining land is a critical area that has very low levels of soil fertility. Required a variety of control measures leads to activities to rehabilitate the land. One effort to overcome this problem is through the use of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (AMF). AMF on degraded lands and marginal able to increase the absorption of macro nutrients (especially P) and micro nutrients, it is also capable of providing resistance to drought. Therefore, the study of the influence of the AMF and P fertilizer to plant Jatropha on coal post-mining land needs to be done in the field. This study uses one-factor randomized block design arranged in combination with 3 replications. The combinations are without AMF inoculation and fertilizer, without AMF inoculation and 25% recommended doses of P, without AMF inoculation and 50% recommended doses of P, without AMF inoculation and 75% recommended doses of P, without AMF inoculation and 100% recommended doses of P, AMF inoculation and without fertilizer, AMF inoculation and 25% recommended doses of P, AMF inoculation and 50% recommended doses of P, AMF inoculation and 75% recommended doses of P, and AMF inoculation and 100% recommended doses of P. The results showed that the jatropha plants are symbiotic with the AMF show higher growth responses than plants without AMF inoculation on coal post-mining land. AMF combined with 50% recommended doses of P fertilizer tend to provide the best growth of Jatropha plant on coal post-mining land. Plants are symbiotic with the AMF and grown on the coal post-mining land can save the use of P fertilizer to 50% of the recommendations dose.
