Abstract

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK KOTORAN SAPI DI TAMBAH MOL BONGGOL PISANG TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT LADA PERDU (Piper nigrum L) DI POLYBAG Yuliyana1),Gusniwati2), dan Tiur Hermawati2) 1)Alumni of the Department of Agroecotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University 2)Lecturer at the Department of Agroecotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University Pinang Masak Campus, Mendalo Indah, Jambi 36361 * Address correspondence : anayuliana670@gmail.com ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of applying cow dung fertilizer plus banana weevil MOL on the growth of shrub pepper seedlings, and to obtain the best dose of cow dung fertilizer added with banana weevil MOL on the growth of shrub pepper seeds. This research was conducted using a randomized block design (RAK) one factor consisting of 5 treatments, namely the application of inorganic fertilizers as recommended (P0), 100 g cow manure plus 50 ml MOL banana weevil (P1), 140 g cow manure fertilizer. plus 50 ml MOL banana weevil (P2), 180 g cow manure plus 50 ml MOL banana weevil (P3), 220 g cow manure plus 50 ml MOL banana weevil (P4). Each treatment was repeated 4 times, thus there were 20 experimental units, and each experimental unit consisted of 5 plants. Each experimental unit contained 2 sample plants, in order to obtain a sample plant of 40 plants. The observed variables were seedling height increase, stem diameter increase, leaf number increase, shoot dry weight and root dry weight. The results showed that the peppercorn seeds given cow dung fertilizer at a dose of 220 g plus 50 ml MOL of banana humps showed the best growth and results could be seen in the yield variables such as height increase of pepper seeds, increase in leaf number, shoot dry weight and root dry weight.
