Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Trichocompost Fertilizer on the growth of Matoa seedlings (pometia pinnata) on ultisol soil media. This research was carried out at the Teaching and Research Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi. The location of this study is located in Mendalo Indah, District of Jambi Luar Kota, Muaro Jambi Regency. With a height of 35 m above sea level. This research was conducted in October to December 2017. This study uses a completely randomized design (CRD) of one factor, namely the concentration of exclusive multipurpose Ghost liquid fertilizer (p) which consists of 5 levels of treatment, namely: t0 (without trichocompost fertilizer application, t1 (administration trichocompost fertilizer 100g / polybag), t2 (Provision of 200 g / polybag Trichokompos Fertilizer, t3 (Provision of 300 g / polybag Trichokompos Fertilizer), t3 (Provision of 300 g / polybag Trichokompos Fertilizer, Provision of 400 g / polybag Trichokompos Fertilizer), t3 (Provision of 500 g / polybag Trichocompost Fertilizer.) The results showed that the administration of trichocompost gave effect to the growth of plant height, seedling diameter, number of seedling leaves and dry weight of seedling, treatment of trichocompost fertilizer 300g / polybag was a dose of trichocompost fertilizer that gave the best growth of matoa plant seeds on ultisol soil growing media.
