Abstract
Karaoke application is entertainment purpose’s application that offer karaoke function for the users, which, they can sing songs that they like while reading the lyric and record it. This research navigates to Karaoke Application as technology that brings beneficial influenced to students who still developing their oral English skill. This research focuses on two issues in describing aspects of oral English language skills that might be developed while the students use it and the role of Karaoke application to help the students in acquiring their oral English language skills. After exploring the phenomenon through doing interviews, the participants divided into two conditions (who still active and not active anymore or occasionally using Karaoke applications) and asked to share their experiences while using Karaoke applications. Analysis of the participants agreed that they are able to enhanced their speaking skill and listening skill. The results indicate that singing on Karaoke applications can improve pronunciation through listening to their own recording and evaluate themselve. Also, to streghthen their vocabularies that can be found in the song lyric. And then, they can exchange feedback with interact and doing project with other users. Karaoke applications might be a good example of media for students to enhance their oral English language skills at home. Keywords: karaoke applications, technology, oral language skills h.
