Abstract

This research aimed to develop learning media using Lectora Inspire 17 on mammalian material for class X high school students. This type of research is development research with a 4D model. This research was conducted at Jambi City State Senior High School 2 in September 2018. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to media expert validators, material expert validators, 1 biology subject teacher, small group students consisting of 9 people, large group students consisting of 35 people. Based on the results of the study, the validation by media experts obtained a final score of 85% with the category "very good" and the validation of material experts obtained a final score of 91.6% with the category "very good". The results of research by teachers in the field of biological studies obtained a percentage of 87.5% in the category of "very good". Small group trials obtained a percentage of 88.19% with the category "very good" and for large group trials obtained a percentage of 80.2% with the category "very good". The results of the study show that the developed Lectora Inspire 17 biology learning media is appropriate for use in learning activities at classroom.
