Abstract
This research investigated about using Youtube content (videos) to improve student reading ability at Smartone private jambi. Youtube content/video are implemented as a solution to improve the students reading ability. This media encourage students to be more active in learning English and to see the effect of Youtube content to improve student reading ability. The problem in this research can be formulated as “ is there any significance effect of using Youtube content to improve Students’ Reading Ability at Smartone private Jambi?”. So From the formulation of the problem, the objective of this research is to find out whether there is significant effect of using Youtube content to improve student reading ability at smarten private Jambi. The design of this research is quasi experimental. The data in this research is formed in Quantitative data taken from the students’ score of the test. There are two data used in this research; pre and post-test results. The treatment in this research is done after giving the pre-test and before post-test. The technique of data analysis is tested by using t-test formula The result of this research showed that Youtube content have significant effect to improve student reading ability at smartone private jambi.
