Abstract

ABSTRACT Siddiq, Hatta Abdurahman. 2021. Developing Pick & Mix Video From Film as a Literary Learning Media. Thesis. English Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Jambi University in Academic Year 2020/2021. The first supervisor is Dra. Armiwati, M.Hum. The second supervisor is Tubagus Zam Zam Al Arif, S.Pd., M.Pd. Key words: Media, Pick & Mix, Film, This study aims at describing the process of developing pick & mix media prototype as a supplementary literary learning media in English education study program Jambi University. The research used research and development research design and follows ADDIE model by Branch in developing the learning media. The stages started from analyzing students’ need through interview, designing the product, developing the pick & mix media, and implementing the pick & mix media. There were 10 participants in the interview section in order to analyze the learners’ need and 5 of students were chosen to take part for the implementation of the media. Moreover, all of the students who watched the video stated that learning video is interesting and attractive to be seen.
