Abstract

ABSTRACT Dwi, Gita. R.,2020. Students’ Perception Towards Quiz Team Method in Reading Comprehension at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi: A Thesis, English study program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University in Academic Year 2020. The first supervisor: Dr. Fortunasari, S.S., M.A and the second supervisor: Drs. Ahmad Ridha, M.A. Keywords: Quiz Team Method, Reading Comprehension, Students’ Perception This study investigated student’s perception towards quiz team method in reading comprehension at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. Its aim to know the students’ perception towards quiz team method in reading comprehension. The researcher chooses the quiz team because students’ perception like learning in a team or group system with the group members. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive approach and survey design to find out students’ perception towards the quiz team method in reading comprehension at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. The result of quiz team in reading comprehension is very reasonable to improve the learning environment and to increase the students motivation and interest in the learning.
