Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out Types of affixes in the formation of Language, Dialect of Kerinci Tanjung Pauh Mudik. In this study, researcher acted as the main or key instrument in collecting data. In conducting research, data were collected by using interview and observation methods. To obtain the validity of the data, researchers used a number of techniques stated by Moleong (1998), namely triangulation, perseverance observation, and discussion with someone. There are four types of affixes found in Kerinci Language, dialect of Tanjung Pauh Mudik, namely prefixes consisting of di-, maN-, bu-/ba-, ta-, paN, sa-, and ka-; infix consisting of-al-, -ka-, -a-; suffix consisting of-an, and -if, confixes (prefixes and suffixes) consisting of ke-an and peN-an.
