Abstract
BUMDes was established to increase the resilience of the village economy. The purpose of establishing BUMDes will not be achieved if BUMDes governance is not yet running effectively. Desa Mendalo Indah is one of the villages in Jaluko Subdistrict, Muaro Jambi Regency, which has BUMDes with an active status but has not been running well. The lack of knowledge and understanding of managers regarding good BUMDes governance is one of the causes for the non-functioning of BUMDes activities. This community service activity aims to help find solutions so that BUMDes can be managed effectively. Strengthening the principles of governance through cooperative, participatory, emancipatory, transparent, accountable and sustainable actions is a model developed in this activity.
