Abstract

The objectives of this study are as follows To analyze the effect of Economic Growth, Inequality of Income Distribution, SMA / MA School Participation Rates, Labor Force Participation Rates, and Government Health Expenditures on Human Development Index (HDI) in Jambi Province City / Regency in 2013-2018. The analytical method used in this study is quantitative and quantitative descriptive. Based on the results of the study that Economic growth has a negative and significant effect on the human development index, inequality in income distribution does not significantly influence the human development index, the school participation rate does not significantly influence the human development index, the labor force participation rate has a positive and significant effect on the human development index, spending government in the health sector has a positive and significant effect on the human development index.
