Abstract
This study aims to compare the financial performance of Local Government in Jambi Province before and after the expansion of the region. Financial performance has to be a measure of success over division policies that have been taken by Local government. Financial performance is compared through the Regional Independence Ratio, fiscal decentralization ratio, effectiveness ratio and efficiency ratio. contained in the Budget Realization Report of each district, which became the object of research here is the existing division of the district in Jambi District Of Kerinci District, Merangin District, Bungo District, Batanghari District and Tanjung Jabung Barat District. Research method used in different test with Paired Sample t-test. To analyze five districts in Jambi Province during the period of regional expansion ef each district. Test results show that all districts have no comparasion on financial performance as measured by Independence Ratio, fiscal decentralization ratio, effectiveness ratio and efficiency ratio district between before and after the expension of territory.
