Abstract

Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Department of Educational Sciences, FKIP University of Jambi, Supervisor I Drs. Nelyahardi, M.Pd, Advisor II Issaura Sherly Pamela, S.Pd, M.Pd. Keywords: Scientific Approach, Activity Learning Education is the right of all citizens, the progress and development of a State is strongly influenced by the level of education of its citizens. Education is instrumental in the effort to educate the nation, intelligent is intended not only intelligent in the sense of knowledge alone but more emphasis on intelligent in emotional. Education can run with the teachers as educators and students as learners who will receive the education itself. The purpose of this study is to determine the contribution of scientific approach to the activity of learning grade IV SDN No.156 / I Bulian Baru Kec. Inner XXIV Kab. Batang Hari. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. The data in this research is obtained by giving questionnaire and observation. Data analysis was done by using Product Moment correlation analysis with belief level α = 5% then calculated t-test. Subjects studied a number of 27 students consisting of 14 male students and 13 female students. The results obtained r_xy = 0.704 and r_ (table) = 0.381. Which means there is a contribution to the strengthening of student learning activities because r_ (count)> 〖r〗 _ (table) (0.704> 0.381) so that has a strong contribution category, while for the significant test obtained t_hitung = 6.9 and t_table = 2,0595 At a significant level α = 5%, n = 27, dk = n - 2 = 27 - 2 = 25. This means t_count> t_ (table) (6.9> 2.0595). Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that there is a significant contribution between the scientific approach and the liveliness of students learning grade IV SDN No.156 / I Bulian Baru, Kec. Inner XXIV, Kab. Batanghari.
