Abstract

ANALISIS POTENSI KOMODITAS KELAPA SAWIT TERHADAP PEREKONOMIAN KABUPATEN MUARO JAMBI Anang Suramat 1), Suandi 2) dan Dewi Sri Nurchaini 2) 1) Alumni Jurusan Agribisnis Fakultas Pertanian Unja 2) Staf Pengajar Jurusan Agribisnis Fakultas Pertanian Unja Email : anang_suramat2728@yahoo.com ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kontribusi komoditas kelapa sawit terhadap perekonomian Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berupa data time series (Deret berkala), periode waktu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tahun 2003, tahun 2008, tahun 2013 dan tahun 2018. Data yang digunakan adalah data produksi kelapa sawit Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, produksi tanaman perkebunan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, produksi kelapa sawit Provinsi Jambi dan produksi tanaman perkebunan Provinsi Jambi. Data bersumber dari Dinas Perkebunan Provinsi Jambi dan Dinas Perkebunan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif analisis, analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excell,adapun alat analisis yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian adalah analisis kontribusi sektor, Location Quotient (LQ) dan Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa komoditas kelapa sawit memberikan kontribusi yang cukup besar terhadap perekonomian Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dengan rata-rata kontribusi sebesar 3,78 persen. Hasil analisis LQ menunjukkan bahwa komoditas kelapa sawit Kabupaten Muaro Jambi merupakan komoditas basis dengan rata-rata nilai LQ sebesar 1,24. Hasil analisis DLQ diperoleh nilai DLQ sebesar 0,98 yang berarti di masa datang komoditas kelapa sawit Kabupaten Muaro Jambi mengalami perubahan posisi menjadi komoditas non basis. Kata Kunci : Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient, Kelapa Sawit ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the contribution of oil palm commodities to the economy of Muaro Jambi Regency. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of time series data (periodic series). The time periods used in this study are 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018. The data used are data on oil palm production in Muaro Jambi Regency, plantation crop production in Muaro Jambi Regency, oil palm production in Jambi Province and plantation crop production in Jambi Province. The data were sourced from the Jambi Province Plantation Service and the Muaro Jambi District Plantation Service. The research method is descriptive analysis, data analysis is carried out using Microsoft Excel software, As for analysis tools used to answer the research objectives are sector contribution analysis, Location Quotient (LQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ). The results of the study indicate that the commodity of palm oil contributes significantly to the economy of Muaro Jambi Regency with an average contribution of 3.78 percent. The results of the LQ analysis show that the oil palm commodity in Muaro Jambi Regency is a base commodity with an average LQ value of 1.24. The results of the DLQ analysis obtained a DLQ value of 0.98, which means that in the future the oil palm commodity of Muaro Jambi Regency will experience a change in position to become a non-basic commodity.
