Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi petani padi sawah terhadap penggunaan mesin panen (combine hasvester) dan untuk mengetahui tingkat adopsi inovasi petani terhadap penggunaan mesin panen (combine hasvester) serta mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi petani padi sawah dengan tingkat adopsi inovasi petani terhadap penggunaan mesin panen (combine hasvester). Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan menggunakan alat analisis statistik non parametrik melalui uji Chi-Square dengan kontingensi 3 x 5. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang nyata antara motivasi petani padi sawah dengan tingkat adopsi inovasi terhadap penggunaan mesin panen di Desa Sri Agung Kecamatan Batang Asam Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat. Kata kunci : Motivasi, Tingkat Adopsi Inovasi, Penggunaan Mesin Panen ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the motivation of lowland rice farmers towards the use of harvesting machines (combine hasvester) and to determine the level of adoption of farmers' innovation on the use of harvest machines (combine hasvester) and to determine the relationship between lowland rice farmers' motivation and the level of farmers' adoption of innovation on the use of harvest machines ( combine hasvester). Determination of the sample in this study was done randomly simple (simple random sampling). This study uses quantitative research methods and uses non-parametric statistical analysis tools through the Chi-Square test with a 3 x 5contingency.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the motivation of lowland rice farmers and the level of adoption of innovation on the use of harvest machines in Sri Agung Village., Batang Asam Asam, West Tanjung Jabung Barat.
