Abstract

Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University is an institution engaged in education. Every year many scholarship offers are provided for students of Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University from various institutions such as Academic Achievement Improvement (PPA). Academic Achievement Improvement Scholarship (PPA) is a scholarship assistance from the government to students in universities, especially those with academic achievement. Scholarship management at Sultan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University still uses Microsoft Excel. The criteria used are: Compulsive achievement index (GPA), Parental income, Parental Dependents, Number of siblings, Charter of achievement and semester. The many criteria used in this case are a separate problem so a method is needed to support decision making. The methods used in decision making are: Analytical Hierarcy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). The AHP method aims to determine the proritas weight of each criterion by using a paired comparison analysis of each criterion. Then continued the calculation with TOPSIS method that aims to determine the alternative of prospective ppa scholarship recipients at Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University. The results showed that AHP and TOPSIS methods can help the scholarship selection process based on established criteria Keywords: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan ,AHP,TOPSIS
