Abstract
Supply Response Analysis of Potato Farmers in the Kayu Aro Subdistrict Kerinci Regency. In Otonomi Daerah (OTDA)era, Regional government efforts to look for regional potency in order to increase Regional Income> Potato in Kerinci Regency has given significantcontribution in Kerinci's PDRB. Suppy response and input demand by potato farmer in Kayu Aro District Kerinci Regency was estimated by using profit function. The objective of this study is to analyse supply response on potato's farmers. Research was conducted in Kayu Aro Subdistrict KerinciRegency from august to December 2007. About 65 potato farmers were collected by simple random sampling in three villages Kayu Aro Subdistrict. The results showed that farmers do maximaize their profit in short term and response to price changing efficiently. Potato's supply elasticity with considering its price was closed to one (0.983)
