Abstract

ABSTRACT Mahesa, Aulia (2021). Literature Stud of Breastfeeding Behavior and Barriers in the First 6 Months Post Partum. Dibimbing oleh Dr. Ns. Muthia Mutmainnah, M.Kep., Sp.Mat. dan Eres Inventori.SKM.,M.Epid. Background : Breastfeeding from an early age has a positive impact on both mother and baby, exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding only for babies until the age of 6 months without additional fluids or other foods. Child health problems in Indonesia are influenced by the high infant mortality rate (IMR). The high infant mortality rate in Indonesia is caused by low nutrition at birth, as well as low breastfeeding immediately after the baby is born (initiation of breastfeeding) and exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months of a baby's life. This can happen because there are several factors inhibiting breastfeeding mothers. Methods : This study is a literature study with article searches using the databases Pubmed and Google Scholar to find articles that match the inclusion and exclusion criteria, then reviewing the articles and obtaining 10 relevant articles. Results : Based on the analysis of 10 articles, 7 of which have resulted in many inhibiting factors that occur during the exclusive breastfeeding process which include knowledge, attitudes, motivation, beliefs, work, family support, health service providers and promotion of formula milk and supplementary feeding. Conclusion : Barriers that occur to mothers in exclusive breastfeeding will affect the lack of exclusive breastfeeding and can lead to an increase in infant mortality, so the role of health workers is needed to provide education to mothers about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for babies. Keywords : Breastfeeding , Barrier , Behavior. ABSTRAK Aulia Mahesa (2021) Studi Literatur : Perilaku Menyusui dan Hambatannya dalam 6 Bulan Pertama Setelah Persalinan. Dibimbing oleh Dr. Ns. Muthia Mutmainnah, M.Kep., Sp.Mat. dan Eres Inventori.SKM.,M.Epid. Latar Belakang : Menyusui sejak dini mempunyai dampak yang positif baik bagi ibu maupun bayinya , ASI eksklusif merupakan pemberian ASI saja pada bayi sampai usia 6 bulan tanpa tambahan cairan ataupun makanan lain. Masalah kesehatan anak di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh tingginya angka kematian bayi (AKB). Tingginya angka kematian bayi di Indonesia disebabkan oleh rendahnya gizi saat kelahiran, serta rendahnya pemberian ASI segera setelah bayi lahir (inisiasi ASI) dan pemberian ASI eksklusif selama 6 bulan pertama kehidupan bayi. Hal ini dapat terjadi karna terdapatnya beberapa faktor hambatan pada ibu menyusui. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur dengan pencarian artikel menggunakan Pubmed, dan Google Scholar untuk menemukan artikel sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi kemudian dilakukan review artikel dan didapatkan 10 artikel yang relevan. Hasil : Berdasarkan analisis 10 artikel , 7 artikel diantaranya memiliki hasil terdapat banyak faktor hambatan yang terjadi saat proses pemberian ASI Ekslusif yang meliputi pengetahuan, sikap, motivasi, kepercayaan, pekerjaan, dukungan keluarga , penyedia layanan kesehatan dan promosi susu formula dan pemberian makanan tambahan. Kesimpulan : Hambatan yang terjadi pada ibu dalam pemberian ASI Ekslusif akan mempengaruhi kurangnya asupan ASI Ekslusif dan dapat menyebabkan meningginya angka kematian pada bayi , sehingga perlunya peran dari petugas Kesehatan untuk memberikan edukasi terhadap Ibu mengenai pentingnya ASI Ekslusif untuk bayi. Kata Kunci : Menyusui , Hambatan , Perilaku.
