Abstract

ABSTRACT PROBLEMATIKA AND ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR ONLINE LEARNING OF MATHEMATICS SUBJECTS IN GRADE V AT SDN 13/IV JAMBI CITY By : Vina Pebriansari P2A619014 Master’s Program In Basic Education This study discussed problematika and alternative solutions for online learning of mathematics subjects in grade V at SDN 13/IV Jambi City. The purpose of this study is to 1) describe the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic; 2) describe the problems of teachers in online mathematics learning during the Covid-19 pandemic; 3) describe the problem solving solutions to online mathematics learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SDN 13/IV Jambi City. This study uses mixed method research. The data of this study was obtained from the results of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data validity test using validity and reliability test and using source and method triangulation. Data analysis techniques using Likert scale and interactive model consist of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The sample technique used in this study is purposive sampling technique. The samples in this study were VA, VB, VC class teachers, principals and students. The findings show that online mathematics learning in grade V during the Covid-19 pandemic was well but not maximal. This is due to the findings of learning problems in terms of infrastructure, the ability of teachers in using online technology and the readiness of students. Furthermore, the efforts taken by teachers in addressing the problem of online learning is that teachers are maximal in providing educational services, but there are some problems that can not be faced alone, requiring a concerted effort in handling them.
