Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is entitled "Analysis of Economic Growth Sources in Jambi City." This study aims to determine the effect of sources of economic growth represented by the formation of gross fixed capital (PMTB), and labor on economic growth in Jambi City. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) using intertemporal data from 2005-2019. This study uses a type of quantitative analysis method with the Error Correction Model (ECM) method, based on the test results of gross fixed capital formation, labor on economic growth by obtaining an Adjusted R Square of 0.9853, which means the influence of the independent variable: Gross Fixed Capital Formation, Labor in influencing the dependent variable: Jambi City's economic growth is 98.53% and the remaining 1.47% is influenced by variables outside the model. Partially, in the long term, the variables of gross fixed capital formation and labor have a significant effect on economic growth. And in the short term, the variable of gross fixed capital formation has a significant effect while for labor it has no significant effect on economic growth.
