Abstract
Penyakit Avian Influenza (AI) merupakan penyakit infeksius pada unggas yang disebabkan oleh virus Influenza tipe A yang termasuk dalam keluarga Orthomyxoviridae. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk pengujian terhadap virus Avian Influenza pada5 sampel swab cloaca atau tracea dari ayam dan burung yang akan dikirim dari jambi ke luar Jambi.Tindakan untuk uji AI menggunakan uji Rapid Test Kit Avian Influenza. Metode Pengujian adalah Rapid Test Avian Influenza Virus dengan tahapan Uji Rapid AI yang dilakukan adalah metode pengambilan sampel dan metode pengujian Rapid Test Avian Influenza. Prinsip dari Rapid Test Avian Influenza Virus adalah reaksi antigen AI dalam sampel yang diperiksa dengan antibodi spesifik AI dalam reagen test kit. Hasil uji Rapid test AI dinyatakan negatif apabila terdapat 1 garis merah C sedangkan hasil positif apabila terdapat 2 garis merah C&T. Dari 5 sampel pada periode waktu selama praktek kerja lapang yaitu tanggal tanggal 4 Februari sampai 29 Maret 2019 di Balai Karantina Pertanian Kelas 1 Jambi tidak ada unggas yang positif Avian Influenza Virus. Avian Influenza (AI) is an infectious disease in poultry caused by type A Influenza virus which belongs to the Orthomyxoviridae family. The purpose of this activity is to test for Avian Influenza virus on 5 cloaca or tracea swab samples from chickens and birds that will be sent from Jambi to outside Jambi. The testing method is the Avian Influenza Virus Rapid Test with the Rapid AI Test stages carried out by the sampling method and the Avian Influenza Rapid Test testing method. The principle of the Avian Influenza Virus Rapid Test is the reaction of the AI antigen in the tested sample with the AI specific antibody in the test kit reagent. The results of the AI Rapid test test are declared negative if there is 1 red line C while the results are positive if there are 2 red lines C&T. Of the 5 samples in the time period during the field work practice, from February 4 to March 29, 2019 at the Class 1 Jambi Agricultural Quarantine Center, there were no birds that were positive for Avian Influenza Virus.
