Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul dari penelitian ini yaitu Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Permintaan Sepeda Motor di Kota Jambi, penelitian ini dibimbing oleh Bapak Prof. Dr. H. Syamsurijal Tan, SE,.MA sebagai pembimbing utama dan bapak Dr. Muhammad Syafri, SE,.M.Si sebagai Pembimbing pendamping. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permintaan sepeda motor dilihat dari kondisi ekonomi dan sosial PNS di Kota Jambi, kedua menganalisis Faktor- faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi permintaan sepeda motor di Kota Jambi. Data yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah data primer dengan sampel sebanyak 96 orang yang merupakan PNS Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, yang diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi E-Views 8.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh pendapatan, biaya transportasi, jumlah keluarga dan harga secara simultan atau bersamaan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap permintaan sepeda motor di Kota Jambi. Sedangkan secara parsial atau sendiri-sendiri variabel pendapatan dan jumlah keluarga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap permintaan sepeda motor. Sementara variabel biaya transportasi dan harga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan sepeda motor di Kota Jambi. untuk kedepannya diharapkan pemerintah agar Kepada produsen dalam negeri agar dapat mengutamakan kualitas produk yang dipasarkan, karena mengingat sepeda motor merupakan salah satu alat trasnportasi yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakt Kota Jambi. Syamsurijal Tan, SE, MA as the main supervisor and Mr. Dr. Muhammad Syafri, SE, M.Si as a companion advisor. This study aims to analyze the demand for motorcycles seen from the economic and social conditions of civil servants in Jambi City, secondly to analyze what factors influence the demand for motorcycles in Jambi City. The data used in this study is primary data with a sample of 96 people who are civil servants in Jambi City. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis, which is processed using the E-Views 8.0 application. The results of this study indicate the effect of income, transportation costs, number of families and prices simultaneously or simultaneously have a significant influence on the demand for motorcycles in Jambi City. Meanwhile, partially or individually, the variables of income and number of families have a significant influence on the demand for motorcycles. Meanwhile, the variables of transportation costs and prices have no significant effect on the demand for motorcycles in Jambi City. In the future, it is hoped that the government will encourage domestic producers to prioritize the quality of the products marketed, considering that motorbikes are one of the most widely used means of transportation by the people of Jambi City.
