Abstract
PENGARUH SELF EFFICACY TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI MELALUI MOTIVASI SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI DI DINAS KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA PROVINSI JAMBI (The Effect of Self Efficacy on Employee Performance Through Motivation As A Mediation Variable in The Communication and Informatics Department of Jambi Province ) Mohammad Yofi Satria ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Self Efficacy Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai melalui Motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan penelitian survey terhadap 98 orang pegawai di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Provinsi Jambi dengan menggunakan jenis data melalui data primer dengan penyebaran kuisioner. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu Self Efficacy sebagai variabel independen, Motivasi sebagai variabel mediasi, dan Kinerja Pegawai sebagai variabel dependen. Metode Analisis yang digunakan yaitu PLS-SEM dengan alat bantu software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Self Efficacy dan Motivasi dapat berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Provinsi Jambi. Kemudian, Self Efficacy dapa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Motivasi Pegawai di Dinas Komunkasi dan Informatika Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini juga mendapatkan hasil bahwa Self Efficacy dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Provinsi Jambi melalui Motivasi Pegawai. Kata Kunci : Self Efficacy, Motivation, Kinerja Pegawai, PLS-SEM ABSTRACT This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance through motivation as a mediating variable at the Jambi Province Communication and Information Office. The research was conducted with a survey research design on 98 employees at the Jambi Province Communications and Information Office using primary data by distributing questionnaires. The variables used are Self Efficacy as an independent variable, Motivation as a mediating variable, and Employee Performance as the dependent variable. The analytical method used is PLS-SEM with the SmartPLS 3.0 software tool. The results show that Self Efficacy and Motivation can have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Communication and Information Office of Jambi Province. Then, Self Efficacy can have a positive and significant effect on employee motivation at the Communications and Information Office of Jambi Province. This study also found that Self Efficacy can have a positive effect on employee performance at the Jambi Province Communication and Information Office through Employee Motivation.
