Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang membatasi penggunaan bungkil inti sawit dalam ransum unggas adalah tingginya kandungan serat dengan komponen dominannya berupa manosa yang mencapai 56,4%. Mannan dapat menyebabkan penurunan kecernaan zat makanan sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk menurunkan melalui penambahan enzim mannanase. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian enzim mannanase dalam hidrolisis ransum mengandung bungkil inti sawit terhadap retensi bahan kering, bahan organik dan protein kasar pada ayam broiler. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Farm dan Unit Bisnis Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jambi pada tanggal 2 September 2019 sampai dengan 29 November 2019. Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu 25 ekor DOC. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan adalah penambahan enzim mannanase dalam ransum mengandung bungkil inti sawit yaitu R0 (0 ml/kg ransum atau tanpa enzim mannanase); R1 (100 ml/kg) ; R2 (200 ml/kg); R3 (300 ml/kg) dan R4 (400 ml/kg). Peubah yang diamati yaitu retensi bahan kering, bahan organik dan protein kasar. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis ragam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan enzim mannanase dalam hidrolisis ransum mengandung BIS berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan retensi bahan kering, bahan organik dan protein kasar, namun antara perlakuan R1,R2, R3 dan R4 tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang nyata (P>0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan enzim mannanase sebesar 100 ml/kg ransum mengandung bungkil inti sawit menghasilkan retensi bahan kering, bahan organik dan protein kasar ransum ayam broiler yang relatif sama dengan pemberian enzim 400 ml/kg ransum. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah penggunaan enzim mannanase pada level 100 ml/kg ransum dalam hidrolisis ransum yang mengandung bungkil inti sawit sudah mampu meningkatkan retensi bahan kering, bahan organik dan protein kasar ransum ayam broiler. One of the factors that limit the use of palm kernel cake in poultry rations is the high fiber content with the dominant component in the form of mannose which reaches 56.4%. Mannan can cause a decrease in the digestibility of food substances so that efforts are needed to reduce it through the addition of the mannanase enzyme. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the mannanase enzyme in the hydrolysis of rations containing palm kernel cake on the retention of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein in broiler chickens. This research was carried out at the Farm and Business Unit of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jambi University from September 2, 2019 to November 29, 2019. The material used in this study were 25 DOCs. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment applied was the addition of mannanase enzyme in rations containing palm kernel cake, namely R0 (0 ml/kg ration or without mannanase enzyme); R1 (100 ml/kg); R2 (200 ml/kg); R3 (300 ml/kg) and R4 (400 ml/kg). The observed variables were dry matter retention, organic matter and crude protein. The data obtained were then analyzed for variance. The results showed that the addition of the enzyme mannanase in the hydrolysis of rations containing BIS had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the increase in retention of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein, but between treatments R1, R2, R3 and R4 did not show a significant difference ( P>0.05). It can be concluded that the addition of the enzyme mannanase at 100 ml/kg ration containing palm kernel cake resulted in retention of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein in broiler chicken rations which were relatively the same as the enzyme administration of 400 ml/kg ration. The conclusion of the study was that the use of the enzyme mannanase at the level of 100 ml/kg ration in the hydrolysis of rations containing palm kernel cake was able to increase the retention of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein in broiler rations.
