Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi yang sangat pesat dan perlunya kemampuan Oral Public Speaking dalam berbagai bidang salah satunya dalam bidang pendidikan, dan pengukuran kualitas pendidikan dilihat dari prestasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara: (1) Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Terhadap Prestasi Akademik; (2) Kemampuan Oral Public Speaking Terhadap Prestasi Akademik; (3) Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Kemampuan Oral Public Speaking Terhadap Prestasi Akademik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan Metode Ex-Post Facto. Populasi sebanyak 619 Sampel Sebanyak 218 Mahasiswa dari Jurusan PIPS FKIP Universitas Jambi Angkatan 2018-2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini mengunakan teknik simpel random sampling. pengujian analisis menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji Linearitas, Uji Multikolinearitas, Uji Heteroskedastisitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi Berganda yaitu Uji T dan Uji F sekaligus Koefisien Determinasi (R2 ). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Tidak Terdapat Pengaruh Positif antara Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Terhadap Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS FKIP Universitas Jambi Angkatan 2018-2020, ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikannya 0,008<0,050 dan nilai koefesien regresi variabel Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi (X1) sebesar -0,187 bertanda negatif serta nilai thitung<ttabel (-2,689<1,625), (2) Terdapat Pengaruh Positif antara Kemampuan Oral Public Speaking Terhadap Prestasi Akademik Mahasiswa Jurusan PIPS FKIP Universitas Jambi Angkatan 2018-2020, ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikannya 0,006<0,05 dan nilai koefesien regresi variabel Kemampuan Oral Public Speaking (X2) sebesar 0,138 bertanda positif serta nilai thitung>ttabel (2,763>1,625), (3) Terdapat Pengaruh Positif antara Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Kemampuan Oral Public Speaking Terhadap Prestasi Akademik. Ini dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai Fhitung sebesar 5,758 Ftabel 3,04 (5,758>3,038) pada signifikansi 0,004 (0,004<0,05) serta R2 Sebesar 5,1%. The background of this research with the development of information technology is very rapid and the necessity of Oral Public Speaking abilities in various fields of one of them in the field of education and educational quality measurement views of academic achievement. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between: (1) Utilization of Information Technology Against Academic Achievement; (2) Ability Against Oral Public Speaking Academic Achievement; (3) Utilization of Information Technology and Capabilities Against Oral Public Speaking Academic Achievement. This research is a quantitative method of Ex-Post Facto. A total of 619 sample population of 218 students from the Department of Forces PIPS FKIP Edinburgh University from 2018 to 2020. The sampling technique in this study using simple random sampling technique. test analysis using Normality Test, Test Linearity, Multicollinearity Test, Test Heteroskidastity. The data analysis technique used is that of Multiple regression analysis of T test and F test at the same coefficient of determination (R2). The results showed that: (1) There are the Positive Effect of Utilization of Information Technology Academic Achievement Student Against PIPS FKIP Forces Edinburgh University from 2018 to 2020, has been demonstrated by the significant value of 0.008<0.050, and the value of a variable regression coefficient Utilization of Information Technology (X1) is -0.187 negative sign and the value of tcount<ttable (-2,689<1,625); (2) There is the Positive Effect of Oral Public Speaking Ability Against Student Academic Achievement PIPS Force FKIP Edinburgh University from 2018 to 2020, has been demonstrated by the significant value of 0.006 <0.05 and value regression coefficient Oral Ability Public Speaking (X2) of 0,138 unmarked positive and value tcount>ttable (2,763>1,625); (3) There is the Positive Effect of Utilization of Information Technology and Capabilities Against Oral Public Speaking Academic Achievement. This can be evidenced by the value fcount amounting to 5.758 ftabel amounting to 3,038 (5,758>3,038) the significance of 0.004 (0.004 <0.05) and R2 much as 5.1%.
