Abstract

TESTING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LOCAL MICROORGANISMS FROM ROT FRUIT WASTE AND Stale RICE, AS STATER IN THE MAKING OF ORGANIC COMPOST IN KARYA MULYA VILLAGE, PRABUMULIH CITY IN 2021 Back ground: local microorganisms are bioactivators that can accelerate and improve the quality of compost. Organic fertilizers have advantages such as increasing physical and biological fertility of the soil. in composting. Research method: this type of research is experimental, by testing the effectiveness of tomato mole, banana weevil mole, banana peel mole, and stale rice. The design of this study is a one shot case study, with a comparison of 4 formulas and 4 repetitions and obtained 12 sample. Statistical test used kruscal walis. Results: This study showed the p value of nitrogen = 0.00, phosphorus = 0.005 and potassium 0.000 that the difference in the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in compost with the formula ingredients: tomato mole, banana weevil mole, pineapple peel mole and stale rice as starters in making compost. Conclusion: Test the effectiveness of moles from rotten tomatoes, banana weevil, pineapple peel, stale rice as a starter in making compost that can be used as fertilizer by people who are mostly farmers. for the people of Karya Mulya Village, they can use vegetable waste, and chicken manure and husks to be made into compost and can be used as a substitute for chemical fertilizers. keywords: Microorganisms, chicken manure, rotten fruit waste, husks
