Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Covid-19 merupakan salah satu penyakit baru yang ditemukan pada tahun 2019 di Wuhn China dan dinyatakan menjadi wabah penyakit mendunia. Diantara permasalahan yang paling dominan menyebabkan peningkatan kasus Covid-19 salah satunya disebabkan karena belum terbentuknya kebiasaan masyarakat untuk menggunakan masker di luar rumah. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap dengan kepatuhan penggunaan masker dalam pencegahan Covid-19 di Desa Pakpahan Kecamatan Pangaribuan. Metode: Jenis penelitian yaitu rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pakpahan Kecamatan Pangaribuan dengan jumlah populasi 3.059 orang dengan sampel 209 orang yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan data dianalisis menggunakan chi square pada α 5%. Hasil: Masyarakat yang memiliki pengetahuan tidak baik sebesar 56,5%, yang memiliki sikap negatif sebesar 56 % dan masyarakat yang tidak patuh menggunakan masker sebesar 74,9%. Hasil uji statistik yaitu terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan kepatuhan menggunakan masker dengan p-value 0,000 dengan nilai PR = 9,363 dan terdapat juga hubungan antara sikap dan kepatuhan pengunaan masker di Desa Pakpahan dengan nilai p-value = 0,000 dan nilai PR = 69,512. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan secara statistik antara pengetahuan dan sikap dengan kepatuhan penggunaan masker sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-29 di Desa Pakpahan. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Kepatuhan, Masyarakat ABSTRACT Background: Covid-19 is one of the new diseases discovered in 2019 and is caused by the corona virus, it is stated that it has never attacked the human body but only occurs in animals. Covid-19 occurred in Wuhan, China for the first time and attacked the human body and was later declared to be a worldwide disease outbreak. Among the most dominant problems causing the continuous increase in Covid-19 cases, one of them is due to the fact that people's habits have not yet formed the habit of using masks outside the home. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with compliance with the use of masks in the prevention of Covid-19 in Pakpahan Village, Pangaribuan District. Methods: This type of research is a cross sectional design. This research was conducted in Pakpahan Village, Pangaribuan District with a population of 3,059 people with a sample of 209 people taken by purposive random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and data were analyzed using chi square at 5%. Results: People who have poor knowledge are 117 people with a percentage (56.5%), who have a negative attitude 116 people with a percentage (56.0) and people who don't comply with wearing masks are 155 people (74.9%) . The results of the statistical test are that there is a relationship between knowledge and adherence to using masks with a p-value of 0.000 with a PR value of 9.363 and there is also a relationship between attitudes and compliance with the use of masks in Pakpahan Village with a p-value of 0.000 and a PR value of 69,512. Conclusion: There is a statistical relationship between knowledge and attitudes with compliance with the use of masks as an effort to prevent Covid-29 in Pakpahan Village.
