Abstract

Pemilihan Kepala Daerah di Provinsi Jambi pada tahun 2020 terdapat satu orang keterwakilan perempuan, yaitu Ratu Munawaroh sebagai calon wakil Gubernur Provinsi jambi tahun 2020. Dalam sejarah kontestasi politik di Provinsi Jambi, belum ada perempuan yang berhasil lolos sampai ketahap wakil gubernur dalam pilkada. Perempuan dalam kontestasi politik tentu juga memiliki peluang yang sama dengan kandidat lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Modalitas Ratu Munawaroh dalam Menghadapi Pilkada Provinsi Jambi Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penggunaan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling sehingga data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis secara kualitatif serta diuraikan secara deskriptif. dan dianalisis menggunakan teori modalitas yang dikemukakan oleh Pierre Bourdieu yaitu terdapat empat modalitas yaitu: pertama modalitas sosial. Kedua modalitas ekonomi, ketiga modalitas budaya, dan keempat modalitas simbolik. Dalam menganalisis modalitas Ratu Munawaroh dalam menghadapi pilkada Provinsi Jambi, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: dari segi modal sosial yang dimiliki oleh Ratu Munawaroh berupa hubungan interaksi dengan masyarakat, kemudian figur yang populer dikalangan masyarakat, dan berupa interasi dengan berbagai organisasi sosial dan politik. Kedua dari segi modal ekonomi yang dimiliki oleh Ratu Munawaroh berupa harta kekayaan pribadi sebesar 30.36.682. kemudian berupa sumbangan dari partai pengusung. Ketiga modal budaya berupa warisan dari keluarga, seperti pendidikan politik yang ia dapatkan dari warisan suaminya, yang ia tidak dapatkan secara formal. Dan kemampuan dalam menampilkan diri di depan publik. Keempat modal simbolik berupa seorang figur yang cerdas, kemudian ramah dan rendah hati, dan memiliki simbolik dari keluarga yang mapan. dan memiliki prestasi. In the 2020 Regional Head Election in Jambi Province, there is one female representative, namely Ratu Munawaroh as a candidate for deputy governor of Jambi Province in 2020. In the history of political contestation in Jambi Province, no woman has managed to qualify for the deputy governor stage in the regional elections. Women in political contestation of course also have the same opportunities as other candidates. This study aims to analyze the modalities of Ratu Munawaroh in Facing the Jambi Provincial Elections in 2020. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The use of the sample in this study is purposive sampling so that the data obtained will be analyzed qualitatively and described descriptively. and analyzed using the modality theory proposed by Pierre Bourdieu, namely there are four modalities, namely: the first is social modality. The two economic modalities, the third cultural modalities, and the fourth symbolic modalities. In analyzing the modalities of Ratu Munawaroh in dealing with the Jambi Provincial elections, the results show that: in terms of social capital, Ratu Munawaroh is in the form of interaction with the community, then a popular figure among the community, and in the form of interaction with various social and political organizations. Second, in terms of economic capital owned by Ratu Munawaroh in the form of personal assets of 30,36,682. then in the form of donations from the supporting party. The three cultural capitals are in the form of inheritance from the family, such as the political education that she got from her husband's inheritance, which she did not get formally. And the ability to present themselves in public. The four symbolic capitals are a figure who is intelligent, then friendly and humble, and has a symbol of an established family. and have achievements.
