Abstract

ABSTRACT Background: Since the first case at December 2019 was identified in Wuhan, it was recorded that disease spread in 218 countries. In October 2021 the world recorded positive confirmed 244,317,000, the death toll reached 4,990,484 people. In October 2021 Indonesia recorded positive confirmed 4,240,623 cases, the death toll reached 143,029, in South Sumatra Province in October it reached positive confirmed 59.730 cases, the death toll reached 3,070. During the pandemic period, hospitals are required to increase OHS efforts to avoid the risk of accidents and occupational diseases in an integrated and comprehensive manner, including hospitals that are a reference place in handling COVID-19 pandemic, such as Kayuagung Hospital. Method: Type of research is qualitative descrptive with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews. The research location at Kayuagung Hospital, with 5 informants. Sources and types of data used are primary and secondary data with objectivity and data validity using the triangulation method. Results: The preparation stage at RSUD making hospital decisions is regulated by the hospital director, the program implementation stage during COVID-19 pandemic namely, the program has been set by the government, while the monitoring stage has not been carried out optimally due to lack of human resources. . Conclusion: The implementation of OHS program at the Hospital has been running but is not optimal and the progra was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic followed the direction of government, and K3RS had not set a special program related for COVID-19 disaster management.
