Abstract

Abstrak: Ruang henti khusus (RHK) sepeda motor adalah RHK sepeda motor secara definisi ialah ruangan yang disediakan pada ujung mulut persimpangan hanya dikhususkan untuk sepeda motor pada saat lampu merah menyala. Di Kota Jambi hampir di setiap persimpangan telah diterapkan Ruang Henti Khusus (RHK) sepeda motor. Menurut pandangan dari masyarakat Kota Jambi RHK di persimpangan tersebut masih belum bisa digunakan sesuai fungsinya dikarenakan masih ada masyarakat yang tidak mengetahui apa fungsi dari RHK tersebut. Untuk meninjau hal tersebut penulis melakukan penelitian evaluasi penerapan RHK pada persimpangan bersinyal Simpang Tiga di Kota Jambi. Berdasarkan Hasil Penelitian Untuk dapat diketahui bahwa presentase tingkat keterisian RHK persimpangan simpang 3 Kota Jambi dari 13 simpang yang memiliki 36 pendekat yang memiliki RHK hanya beberapa simpang yang dikatakan berhasil dengan persentase ≥80% yaitu ada 8 pendekat simpang, yang dikatakan cukup berhasil dengan persentase 60%-79% ada 13 pendekat simpang, sedangkan yang tergolong kurang berhasil diterapkan dengan persentase <60% ada 12 pendekat simpang yang ada di Kota Jambi. Untuk penempatan RHK dilihat dari kondisi lalu lintas ada di persimpangan simpang 3 di Kota Jambi ada 9 simpang dengan 14 pendekat yang sesuai dan ada 13 simpang dengan 29 pendekat yang memenuhi persyaratan kondisi lalu lintas sesuai dengan pedoman RHK 2015. Abstract: A special stopping room (RHK) for motorcycles is a motorcycle RHK by definition, it is a space provided at the end of the mouth of an intersection that is only reserved for motorcycles when the red light is on. In Jambi City, at almost every intersection, a special stopping room (RHK) for motorcycles has been implemented. According to the views of the people of Jambi City, the RHK at the intersection still cannot be used according to its function because there are still people who do not know what the function of the RHK is. To review this, the authors conducted an evaluation study of the application of RHK at the intersection of three signalized intersection in Jambi City. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the percentage of the RHK occupancy rate at the Jambi City 3 intersection of 13 intersections that have 36 approaches that have RHK only a few intersections are said to be successful with a percentage of 80% is there are 8 intersection approaches, which are said to be quite successful with a percentage of 60 %-79% there are 12 intersection approaches, while those that are classified as less successful are implemented with a percentage of <60% there are 13 intersection approaches in Jambi City. For the placement of RHK seen from the traffic conditions, there are 9 intersections with 14 appropriate approaches and there are 13 intersections with 29 approaches that meet the traffic conditions requirements according to the 2015 RHK guidelines.
