Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) perkembangan PDRB, penduduk, investasi, pedidikan dan kesempatan kerja di Provinsi Jambi periode 1995-2019 dan 2) pengaruh PDRB, penduduk, investasi dan pendidikan terhadap kesempatan kerja di Provinsi Jambi periode 1995-2019.. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang bersumber dari Kantor Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Jambi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa: 1) PDRB Provinsi Jambi selama periode analisis cenderung mengalami peningkatan dimana peningkatan tertinggi pada tahun 1996, jumlah penduduk juga cenderung mengalami peningkatan dimana peningkatan yang tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2010, investasi juga cenderung meningkat setiap tahunnya dimana peningkatan yang tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2012, pendidikan juga cenderung mengalami peningkatan dimana peningkatan tertinggi adalah pada tahun 1998 dan jumlah kesempatan kerja juga cenderung mengalami peningkatan dimana peningkatan tertinggi pada tahun 2002; 2) secara simultan PDRB, jumlah penduduk, investasi dan pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja di Provinsi Jambi; dan 3) secara parsial variabel independen yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja adalah PDRB dan investasi sedangkan tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Kata Kunci: PDRB, jumlah penduduk, investasi, pendidikan, kesempatan kerja ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze: 1) the development of GRDP, population, investment, education and employment opportunities in Jambi Province for the period 1995-2019 and 2) the effect of GRDP, population, investment and education on employment opportunities in Jambi Province for the period 1995-2019. The data used in this research is secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Jambi Province. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis, it is known that: 1) PDRB Jambi Province during the analysis period tends to increase where the highest increase was in 1996, the population also tends to increase where the highest increase occurred in 2010, investment also tends to increase every year where the highest increase occurs in 2012, education also tended to increase where the highest increase was in 1998 and the number of employment opportunities also tended to increase where the highest increase was in 2002; 2) simultaneously PDRB, population, investment and education have a significant effect on employment opportunities in Jambi Provinc; and 3) partially the independent variables that have a significant effect on employment opportunities are GRDP and investment, while the level of education does not have a significant effect;.
