Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui gambaran perkebunan karet di Kabupaten Sarolangun 2) menganalisis peran perkebunan karet terhadap perekonomian Kabupaten Sarolangun 3) mengidentifikasi basis atau non basisnya perkebunan karet di Kabupaten Sarolangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang yang dikumpulkan dari instansi-instansi terkait selama 12 tahun terakhir periode 2008-2019. Data bersumber dari Dinas Perkebunan Provinsi Jambi, Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jambi, dan Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Sarolangun. Metode analisa yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui gambaran perkebunan karet Kabupaten Sarolangun, analisis kontribusi untuk menganalisis peranan perkebunan karet terhadap perekonomian Kabupaten Sarolangun, dan analisis sektor basis dengan menggunakan formulasi Location Quotient (LQ) untuk mengidentifikasi basis atau non basisnya perkebunan karet terhadap perekonomian Kabupaten Sarolangun. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan indikator produk domestik regional atas dasar harga konstan, rata-rata kontribusi perkebunan karet terhadap perekonomian wilayah sebesar 13,79 persen per tahun dan atas dasar harga berlaku sebesar 6,40 persen per tahun dan untuk indikator tenaga kerja rata-rata perkebunan karet memberikan kontribusi sebesar 27,12 persen per tahun. Analisis LQ menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata LQ lebih besar dari 1 (LQ>1). Nilai LQ pendapatan atas dasar harga konstan sebesar 3,16 dan atas dasar harga berlaku sebesar 2,33, sedangkan untuk indikator tenaga kerja nilai rata-rata LQ sebesar 1,64. ABSTRACT This study aims to: 1) find out the description of rubber plantations in Sarolangun district 2) analyze the role of rubber plantations on the economy of Sarolangun district 3) identify the basis or non basis of rubber plantations in Sarolangun district. This study uses secondary data collected from relevant agencies during the last 12 years for the 2008-2019 period. The data were sourced from the Jambi Province Plantation Service, the Jambi Province Central Statistics Agency, and the Sarolangun Regency Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative analysis to determine the description of rubber plantations in Sarolangun Regency, contribution analysis to analyze the role of rubber plantations on the economy of Sarolangun Regency, and base sector analysis using the Location Quotient (LQ) formulation to identify the basis or non-base of rubber plantations on the economy. Sarolangun Regency. Based on data analysis with regional domestic product indicators based on constant prices, the average contribution of rubber plantations to the regional economy is 13.79 percent per year and based on current prices is 6.40 percent per year and for the average plantation labor indicator rubber contributes 27.12 percent per year. LQ analysis shows that the average value of LQ is greater than 1 (LQ>1). The LQ value of income at constant prices is 3.16 and at current prices is 2.33, while for the labor indicator the average value of LQ is 1.64. Key words : Rubber plantation, Role, and GRDP.
