Abstract

PT. XYZ bergerak di bidang perkebunan kelapa sawit terletak di Kecamatan mendahara Ulu Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) Menggambarkan perkembangan produksi kelapa sawit di PT. XYZ, 2) Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kelapa sawit di PT. XYZ, 3) Meramalkan produksi kelapa sawit PT. XYZ pada tahun 2021. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran umum produksi kelapa sawit menggunakan pendekatan desktriptif, selanjutnya untuk menganalisis faaktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi kelapa sawit menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier menggunakan model Cobb-Douglas untuk melihat pengaruh masing-masing faktor produksi terhadap hasil produksi yang dihasilkan. Sedangkan untuk meramalkan produksi kelapa sawit menggunakan metode Regresi Linier untuk mengetahui jumlah produksi kelapa sawit PT. XYZ pada Januari – Desember 2021. Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini yaitu produksi, tenaga kerja, pupuk organik, pupuk anorganik, pestisida, dan curah hujan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel tenaga kerja, pupuk anorganik dan curah hujan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi kelapa sawit di PT. XYZ, sedangkan secara parsial pupuk organik dan pestisida tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi kelapa sawit di PT. XYZ. Selanjutnya hasil peramalan produksi kelapa sawit menunjukkan perkembangan yang positif di tahun berikutnya yaitu selama dua belas bulan mendatang pada Januari – Desember 2021. PT. XYZ is engaged in oil palm plantations, located in Mendahara Ulu District, East Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province. This study aims to: 1) Describe the development of oil palm production at PT. XYZ, 2) Analyzing the factors that affect oil palm production at PT. XYZ, 3) Forecasting the palm oil production of PT. XYZ in 2021. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. To describe the general picture of oil palm production using a descriptive approach, then to analyze the factors that affect oil palm production using Linear Regression analysis using the Cobb-Douglas model to see the effect of each production factor on the resulting production. Meanwhile, to predict the production of palm oil using the Linear Regression method to determine the amount of oil palm production of PT. XYZ in January – December 2021. The variables measured in this study are production, labor, organic fertilizers, inorganic fertilizers, pesticides, and rainfall. The results of the analysis show that the variables of labor, inorganic fertilizer and rainfall have a significant effect on oil palm production at PT. XYZ, while partially organic fertilizers and pesticides have no significant effect on oil palm production at PT. XYZ. Furthermore, the results of forecasting oil palm production show positive developments in the following year, namely over the next twelve months in January – December 2021.
