Abstract
ABSTRACT HALIMATUS SA'ADIAH. 2021. The Influence of Cooperative Learning Models for Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) and Jigsaw Types in terms of Numerical Ability on Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes, Supervisor (I) Dr. Syaiful, M. Pd, (II) Ir. Bambang Hariyadi, M.Sc., Ph.D Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Type Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD), Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning, Numerical Ability, Learning Outcomes The learning process is inseparable from the strategies and learning models used. The application of the STAD and Jigsaw learning models is an effort to improve students' abilities and learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of learning treatment in terms of numerical ability on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of class IX of SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci and the research samples were class IX B as experimental class 1, IX C as experimental class 2, and IX D as control class. The data was collected using a test instrument to see the students' mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out by using two-way ANOVA statistical test and further testing using the Tukey test. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning treatment in terms of numerical ability on mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Kerinci (p-value = 0.042), there is no influence of numeric ability on mathematics learning outcomes (p-value = 0.953) and There is no interaction between learning model and numerical ability on students' mathematics learning outcomes (p-value = 0.508). In further analysis using the Tukey test, it was found that the STAD model and the Jigsaw model had an average that was not significantly different (p-value = 0.295), the same thing also happened between the Jigsaw and Conventional models (p-value = 0.264), but the STAD model and Conventional have a significant difference in average (p-value = 0.009).
