Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level Indigofera sp. optimum dalam penggantian konsentrat sapi Bali ditinjau dari kecernaan fraksi serat. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Bujur Sangkar Youden (RBSY) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan, 3 sapi dan 4 periode. Perlakuan yang dievaluasi adalah R0 : 50% rumput lapang + 50% konsentrat (kontrol), R1 : 50% rumput lapang + 37,5% konsentrat + 12,5% Indigofera sp, R2 : 50% rumput lapang + 25% konsentrat + 25% Indigofera sp, R3 : 50% rumput lapang + 12,5% konsentrat + 37,5 Indigofera sp. Setiap periode berlangsung selama 13 hari (10 hari penyesuaian ransum dan 3 hari koleksi feses). Rumput dicacah dan dianginkan sebelum diberikan. Tepung daun Indigofera sp. diaduk bersama konsentrat sampai homogen sesuai dengan perlakuan. Sisa pakan ditimbang tiap hari. Feses ditimbang setiap 3 hari akhir periode. Sampel pakan dan feses dianalisis kandungan bahan kering (BK), neutral detergent fiber (NDF) dan acid detergent fiber (ADF). Data digunakan untuk mengetahui kecernaan NDF (KcNDF), ADF (KcADF) dan hemiselulosa (KcHemi). Analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap KcNDF, KcADF dan KcHemi. Dari uji Polynomial Orthogonal diperoleh hubungan linier antara level Indigofera sp. (X,%) dengan KcNDF (Y,%), KcADF (Y,%) dan KcHemi (Y, %). Dengan persamaan Y = 0,2773x + 46,508, R2 = 0,9414, Y = 0,3383x + 37,991, R2 = 0,9129 dan Y = 0,3027x + 58,552, R2 = 0,985 berturut-turut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Indigofera sp. dapat digunakan sebagai pengganti konsentrat hingga 75% dalam konsentrat atau 37,5% dalam ransum sapi Bali bibit. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the level of Indigofera sp. optimum in the replacement of Bali cattle concentrate in terms of digestibility of fiber fraction. The study was carried out using Youden's Square Design (RBSY) which consisted of 4 treatments, 3 cows and 4 periods. The treatments evaluated were R0 : 50% field grass + 50% concentrate (control), R1 : 50% field grass + 37.5% concentrate + 12.5% ​​Indigofera sp, R2 : 50% field grass + 25% concentrate + 25 % Indigofera sp, R3 : 50% field grass + 12.5% ​​concentrate + 37.5 Indigofera sp. Each period lasted for 13 days (10 days of ration adjustment and 3 days of faecal collection). The grass was chopped and aerated before being fed. Indigofera sp. leaf flour. stirred with concentrate until homogeneous according to the treatment. The rest of the feed was weighed every day. Feces were weighed every 3 days at the end of the period. The feed and feces samples were analyzed for dry matter (BK), neutral detergent fiber (NDF) and acid detergent fiber (ADF) content. The data were used to determine the digestibility of NDF (KcNDF), ADF (KcADF) and hemicellulose (KcHemi). Analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on KcNDF, KcADF and KcHemi. From the Orthogonal Polynomial test, a linear relationship was obtained between the levels of Indigofera sp. (X,%) with KcNDF (Y,%), KcADF (Y,%) and KcHemi (Y, %). With the equation Y = 0.2773x + 46.508, R2 = 0.9414, Y = 0.3383x + 37.991, R2 = 0.9129 and Y = 0.3027x + 58.552, R2 = 0.985, respectively. It can be concluded that Indigofera sp. can be used as a concentrate substitute up to 75% in concentrate or 37.5% in rations for Bali cattle breeds.
