Kata kunci : Didactical Design Research, Konsep Jarak Dimensi Tiga, Learning Obstacle, Learning Trajectory, Antisipasi Didaktis Pedagogis. Hambatan belajar yang tejadi pada peserta didik merupakan hambatan epistemologis yaitu ketika seorang peserta didik berhadapan dengan permasalahan baru dan kesulitan menggunakan pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki karena terbatas pada konteks tertentu. Untuk meminimalisir hambatan tersebut diperlukan persiapan pembelajaran yang disesuaikan melalui proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan termasuk penyusunan bahan ajar yang mengaktifkan peserta didik untuk mengkonstruksi konsep dan pemahamannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan tujuan menganalisis learning obstacles pada pembelajaran jarak di dimensi tiga menggunakan dengan menerapkan Didactical Design Research (DDR) sehingga hambatan belajar yang teridentifikasi dapat diminimalisir. Analisis dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan antara lain, analisis sebelum pembelajaran yang menghasilkan desain didaktis hipotetik termasuk Antisipasi Didaktis dan Pedagogis (ADP), analisis metapedadidaktik dengan mengimplementasi ADP, dan analisis retrosfektif yang mengaitkan situasi hipotetik dengan metapedadidaktik. Desain didaktis disusun berdasarkan learning obstacles dan learning trajectory hasil observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Jambi kelas XII MIPA tahun ajaran 2020/2021 dan XII MIPA tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Hasil identifikasi learning obstacle menunjukkan adanya hambatan epistemologis peserta didik antara lain, kesalahan pemahaman kedudukan titik, garis, dan bidang pada bangun ruang, kesalahan konsep jarak titik ke setiap unsur termasuk pemahaman mengenai proyeksi, dan kesalahan menentukan jenis segitiga serta penggunaan teorema phytagoras dan luas segitiga dengan kesebangunan. Analisis respon peserta didik selama implementasi desain didaktis hipotetik dijadikan landasan untuk menghasilkan desain didaktis empirik yang dapat dikembangkan kembali melalui tahapan DDR. Sedangkan dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa desain didaktis ini dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif pembelajaran jarak pada dimensi tiga di kelas XII karena dapat mengurangi learning obstacles yang teridentifikasi. Learning obstacles that occur in students are epistemological obstacle, when a student is faced with new problems and has difficulty using the knowledge he already has because it is limited to a certain context. To minimize these obstacles, it is necessary to tailored learning preparation through the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning process carried out including the preparation of teaching materials that enable students to construct concepts and their understandings. This researtch is a qualitative with the aim of analyzing learning obstacles in distance learning in the third dimension using Didactical Design Research (DDR) so that the identified learning barriers can be minimized. The analysis was carried out in several stages, including, pre-learning analysis that resulted in a hypothetical didactic design including Didactic and Pedagogical Anticipation (ADP), metapedadidactic analysis by implementing ADP, and retrospective analysis linking hypothetical situations with metapedadidactics.The didactic design is based on learning obstacles and learning trajectories from observations. The research subjects were students of SMA Ferdy Ferry Putra Jambi class XII MIPA for the academic year 2020/2021 and XII MIPA for the academic year 2021/2022. The results of the identification learning obstacles indicate that there are epistemological obstacles from students, including misunderstandings about the position of points, lines, and planes in spatial shapes, errors in the concept of the distance between points to each element, including an understanding of projections, and errors in determining the type of triangle and the use of the Pythagoras theorem and the area of the triangle with congruence concept. Analysis of student responses during the implementation of a hypothetical didactic design is used as the basis for producing an empirical didactic design that can be redeveloped through the DDR stage. Meanwhile, from the results of the research, it was concluded that this didactic design can be an alternative to distance learning in the third dimension in class XII because it can reduce the identified learning obstacles.
