Abstract
ABSTRACT Berta Yohana, 2021 : “Students’ and Teachers’ Experiences Online Teaching and Learning During Covid 19 Pandemics at Junior High School” Supervisors : 1. Hadiyanto, S.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D. 2. Dr. Dra. Rosinta Norawati, M.A The purpose of this study was to find out the Experiences of Students and Teachers Learning Online During the Covid 19 Pandemic at one of the Junior High School In Kota Sungai Penuh. The researcher used qualitative research as a design method because it was comparable to collecting data from the experiences of students and teachers, and providing interviews to collect data. Data were collected from seventh grade D who had studied using online learning. The sample of this study was 8 students who were taken by choosing based on the criteria of students who were actively taking classes or participating in online learning. and one subject teacher who teaches in the classroom. The findings of this study are to illustrate that the results of student interviews indicate that most students have different experiences of online learning. They can improve learning by using online learning and get new experiences with media (learning videos, sourced from youtube or videos of teachers themselves teaching), which have just been implemented by teachers, namely online learning media. In addition, some students also argue that online learning has obstacles, namely the network is not good, the quality of mobile phones that do not support the students themselves and difficulties in using applications. In conclusion, the experience of students in online learning during the covid 19 pandemic at one of the Junior High School In Kota Sungai Penuh has a variety of experiences for each student and teacher. Online learning can be said to be an effective learning resource if it is supported by adequate infrastructure such as a good network. There are several student experiences during online learning such as responses to codes S.1.8, S.3.8, S.4.8, S.5.8, S.6.8, S.7.8, S.8.8, While the experience of teachers when teaching online is in the responses, on code: T.1.1. In addition, the teacher's experience in teaching online during the covid 19 pandemic in class one of the Junior High School In Kota Sungai Penuh, namely, the teacher feels that there is a comfortable space and opportunity for teachers to teach online, because when teaching online in a home atmosphere the teacher can take advantage of time and carry out online learning while at home as well as possible. In addition, there is concern for students in the implementation of online learning, one of which is that the teacher pays more attention to students who have learning difficulties. one of the teachers here while teaching online in English subjects Key words: Experiences, Online Teaching, Learning
