Abstract
Berdasarkan data World Economic Forum, keterampilan stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility dan resilience merupakan keterampilan pengaturan diri (self-management) yang hendaknya dimiliki oleh peserta didik di tahun 2025 disebabkan oleh pergeseran tren pembelajaran luring ke pembelajaran daring pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran umum tingkat keterampilan stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, resilience, dan capaian indeks prestasi serta ada tidaknya hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel tersebut pada semester gasal dan genap tahun akademik 2020/2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis studi korelasi. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 245 responden mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Jambi yang terdaftar aktif pada semester genap tahun akademik 2020/2021. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dilanjutkan uji korelasi dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, dan resilience mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Jambi pada pembelajaran daring di masa pandemi Covid-19 berada pada kategori sedang dan tinggi. Keterampilan yang menonjol pada laki-laki dibandingkan perempuan adalah resilience. Penguasaan keterampilan cognitive flexibility dan resilience mahasiswa senior lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa junior. Capaian indeks prestasi pada semester genap dibanding semester ganjil mengalami kenaikan. Kategori laki-laki dan mahasiswa junior mendapat hasil belajar yang meningkat. Sedangkan perempuan dan mahasiswa senior cenderung fluktuatif. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan nilai korelasi stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, resilience terhadap indeks prestasi masing-masing sebesar 0.163, 0.168 dan 0.170. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan terdapat korelasi positif dan signifikan antara variabel-variabel tersebut namun tingkat keeratan hubungan berada pada kategori rendah. Artinya, jika mahasiswa memiliki keterampilan stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, resilience yang baik maka akan mendapat indeks prestasi yang baik pula dan berlaku sebaliknya. Based on World Economic Forum data, stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility and resilience skills are self-management skills that students should have in 2025 due to the shift of offline learning to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out the general description of the skill level of stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, resilience, and student’s GPA achievement and whether or not there is a significant relationship between these variables in the odd and even semesters of the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is a correlation study. The sample of this study amounted to 245 respondents from Jambi University Biology Education students who were actively registered in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. Collecting data using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics followed by correlation test with SPSS. The results showed that the level of stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, and resilience of the Biology Education Study Program students at the University of Jambi in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was in the medium and high categories. The skill that stands out in men compared to women is resilience. The mastery of cognitive flexibility and resilience skills of senior students is higher than that of junior students. Student’s GPA achievement in the even semester compared to the previous semester has increased. The male and junior student categories got improved learning outcomes. Meanwhile, women and senior students tend to fluctuate. The results of statistical analysis show that the correlation values of stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, resilience to the achievement index are 0.163, 0.168 and 0.170, respectively. This value indicates that there is a positive and significant correlation between these variables but the level of closeness of the relationship is in the low category. That is, if students have good stress tolerance, cognitive flexibility, and resilience skills, they will get a good achievement index and vice versa.
