Abstract
This research aims to determine the response of growth and productivity of long bean plants to the different combinations of solid compost of palm oil and inorganic fertilizers. This research used a single factor randomized block design, that is solid compound combination and inorganic fertilizer (urea, TSP, KCl), that is : A0 = 100% inorganic fertilizer (Urea, TSP, KCl), A1 = Inorganic 50% + 10 ton ha-1solid compost, A2 = inorganic 50% +15 ton ha-1 solid compost, A3 = inorganic 50% + 20 ton ha-1 solid compost, A4 = 10 ton ha-1 solid compost, A5 = 15 ton ha-1 solid compost, A6 = 20 ton ha-1 solid compost.The data obtained from this research are classified as abnormal (small), especially in the age parameters of flowering plants, number of pods, and weight of pods. It is suspected in long bean plants of varieties of Sabrina have adaptation area in Kediri district, while the research was conducted in Muaro Jambi district, Jambi Province.The next thing is suspected because of pest attacks that attack parts of plants, such as flowers and pods, so the growth and development of pods become abnormal.
