Abstract
Abstrak The entire Rafflesiaceae tribe is a parasitic plant, several genera belonging to the Rafflesiaceae tribe are Rafflesia, Sapria and Rhizanthes. Rhizanthes is a plant that only lives in a few locations in the tropical rain forest ecosystem. The uniqueness of this species when compared to other members of the Rafflesia clan is its smaller size, shape and number and the size of the perigon lobe is different from Rafflesia. Rhizanthes needs to be used as a priority puspa in its conservation because this species is fairly difficult to find in nature, the Rafflesiaceae species are known to be very sensitive to extinction because this plant is holoparasite, so its existence is very dependent on its liana host. This research was carried out in March 2021–July 2021. Data collection was carried out on the left and right of the Mount Kerinci Hiking Trail, the Camping Ground route of Bangun Rejo Solok Selatan which is managed in the Sungai Lambai Resort area, Section IV Sangir National Park Management, Park Management Sector National Region II West Sumatra, Kerinci Seblat National Park. Determination of sample plots was determined by purposive sampling, using a circle plot with the center on the Rhizanthes flower knob. Based on the results of the study found 1 species of Rhizanthes, namely R. infaticida with a total population of R. infaticida in 10 research plots totaling 351 individuals consisting of 182 living buds, 33 dead buds, 5 live blooming individuals and 131 dead blooming individuals. In this study, it was found that Tetrastigma papillosum was the host of R. infaticida. The abiotic environmental conditions of R. infaticida live at an altitude of 1010-1119 masl, with gentle slopes (8-16%) and flat (0-8%). on acidic soils with pH = 5-5.5 and soil moisture content of 58-59%., at air temperature 22 C-25 C with air humidity 96.5%-99% and light intensity ranging from 171, 5-867.5 lux. Keywords: Rhizanthes, R. infaticida, Rafflesiaceae, Kerinci Seblat National Park
