Abstract

PROSESI ADAT PERKAWINAN ERNAWATI DAN ZULKIFLI DI DESA LOPAK AUR KECAMATAN PEMAYUNG KABUPATEN BATANGHARI Suryati, Ade Kusmana, Larlen FKIP Universitas Jambi ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe the procession of marriage custom based on how the procession of marriage customary community Lopak Aur Village Pemayung District Batanghari District form and the actual way and the meaning of the procession of marriage custom, in order to avoid confusion in implementing various processions of customary marriage conducted in the Lopak Aur Village community and programmatically arranged. This research method is descriptive with type of qualitative approach. The data in this research are oral data that is seeing and simultaneously asking procession of marriage custom of Lopak Aur village community. While the source data obtained through recording, reading books seloko Jambi marriage custom applicable in Batanghari District and sources such as Chairman of Customary Institutions, tuo-tuo tengganai and community leaders Lopak Aur Village. The results of this study found four customary marriage procession and the meaning of marriage procession of Lopak Aur Village District Pemayung Batanghari District are as follows: 1) Procession Application, 2) Procession Handover Custom, 3) Wedding Procession or Akad Nikah, 4) Accept Bride / Lab Lek.
